Looks like it was inspired by Crumb’s cover for Zap Comix #2.
I thought the scariest part was the presence of those two teeth protruding from the front part of his beak, but then I noticed that jaundiced tongue. Brrrrr.
If Woody had gone straight to the police, this would never have happened.
