Scrappy box (late 1930s?)
Scrappy is my favorite forgotten cartoon actor of the 1930s. Like several others, he seems to have been a bigger deal in home movies than at theaters -- at any given time, you can find several of his films up for bid on eBay. This box seems to have been drawn by an amateur of middling talent with only a nodding familiarity with Scrappy and his dog Yippy. It contained Scrappy's Pony, a 1937 cartoon.
