We didn't spend that much time in Kentucky, but we did visit beautiful McCracken County, where some of the license plates bore the family name. From there, we moved on to Spring Hill, Tennessee, home of the Saturn plant -- my car's birthplace. (For me, it was a pilgrimage, but my parents had a good time, too.) They don't let you take photos on the factory tour, so I posed in front of a perhaps excessively rustic (but apparently authentic) barn on Saturn premises.

I continued to take pictures of interesting signs in Tennessee, including this 1950s-ish motel sign and a mysterious bench advertising something called the Elmer Fudpucker Show. Wind up the trip
