File photo of McCracken; date unkown. Unaccustomed as I am to public Webbing, this little site is my attempt at a home page. And no, it's not particularly fascinating, but I've had fun putting it together and running it for the past three-and-a-half years.
As of this writing, I live in the up-and-coming Mervyn Heights neighborhood in San Francisco. I have previously called a bunch of other places home: Portland, London, and various towns in the Boston area. I spend my days working at PC World magazine; as of late March, 2002, I'm the editor of the whole dang magazine. Which melds two obssessions of mine: magazines and computers (I've been a PC user since 1978).
Another long-time interest of mine -- since I was about two, actually -- has been animation and comics. I served as editor of Animato magazine from 1987 to 1991. You'll find some reprints from it in the Stuff by Harry section of this site.
Anyhow, I'm not sure why I'm writing this, since I suspect that most folks who come here already know the above. Please visit my message center, stop by to chat in one of my chat sessions, and have fun.
