Walter Lantz boxes (Cine Art Films -- 1937?)
This seems to be the earliest Lantz art in this exhibit (these are the two sides of one box), and it's nicely done--especially considering that they don't appear to have been printed in full color. That's the late-model version of Oswald. I don't think I've ever seen a "Meany, Miny Moe" cartoon, but the Three Stooges influence is obvious. (From the collection of Jerry Beck--the Meany art is his favorite piece of home-movie cartoon box art..)
