My August, 1998 TripWe start in Portland, Oregon, at the beloved White Stag sign. (So called because it was originally an ad for White Stag clothing; when that company relocated, a Oregon-products store called "Made in Oregon" modified the sign to plug itself.) On the right, another neat sign from downtown Portland.
