The BIX listings filesystem is approaching critical mass. TPTB
have asked us to trim our listings areas down a bit to keep things
under control for the next while. So far, I’ve worked out a tentative

be posted here; members of the animation conference will have
until September 3rd to download any ill-fated files before they’re
removed.
(3) I’ll be keeping backups of all the deleted files on disk, so
they can be obtained on request.
We regret any inconveniences this might cause. Unfortunately,
it has to be done.

Mini-movie projector that animates a 4 frame vga image. Can be
used on your own images. Uses TWK256.BGI, a new BGI driver
supporting multiple video pages for animation: 4 pages at
320×200, 3 pages at 320×240, and 1 page at 360×480. Should run on
all register standard VGA cards.
The file is LHARC’d and self-unpacking. You do not need an
unpacking program.
Current testing results:
Does NOT work with “Panasonic Business Partner 1900”, “Atari
PC-4”
DOES work with “Amstrad PC-2086D”

Provided it’s been installed by our moderators, I have uploaded a filmography
of Hal Seeger Productions’ cartoon series “Out Of The Inkwell,” (1962-1963),
“Milton The Monster” (1965-1966) and its supporting series, including “Stuffy
Derma” (!), and “Batfink” (1966-1967), with titles, production numbers and
copyright dates (no credits yet — that’ll come later). This supercedes the
listings in Jeff Lenburg’s book which in some cases give incorrect titles and
omit some cartoons. The file, H_SEEGER.ZIP, is unpackable with PKUNZIP or
similar de-archiver.

“This is a set of Data files containing information on CD Sound records related
to Animated shows (movies, TV and OVAs). The database was created with
Superbase, but a set of Comma Separated Value files are included for use with
other file management programs. There are now 622 entries in this database and
the file structure has been changed significantly from previous versions.”

The file ‘anirec03.arc’ completely replaces ‘anirec02.arc’ and all other
previous versions. This file contains 745 entries and represents all my current
information about CD’s. As such, it’s not likely that this file will be updated
in the near future.
The file structure has been changed again. The file is very close to its
final form and index code numbers have been assigned for the first time
establishing the complete organizational philosophy. Documentation has likewise
been expanded corrected and clarified.

BATTLECRUISER:3000AD Space flight simulation demo.
This is a demo of the soon-to-be released 3D space flight simulation by
Derek Smart. This program requires 585K, VGA card+monitor to run. It supports
pcspeaker, Soundblaster, Adlib and compatibles for sound output. However, no
midi music or digitized voice effects are used in the pcspeaker configuration.
If you have a soundblaster, you MUST also download BCSDIG.ZIP or BCADIG.ZIP

sample screens captured from the program, BC3GI1.ZIP and BC3GI2.ZIP. The

create new artwork for my 3d flight simluation BATTLECRUISER:3000AD. This file
contains a samples of his artwork and illustrates how much of a change his
contribution will bring to the final product. If you haven’t seen the demo

This is the latest version of my ImageWise Framegrabber support
kit. It contains C source code for the following modules:
‘icap’ — which captures an Imagewise frame file.
‘iex’ — which expands a compressed Imagewise file to full length.
‘iana’ — which provides some integrity checking and stats of an
expanded imagewise file.
‘imcon’ — which converts an expanded Imagewise file to Atari
ST Degas .PI1 format or Amiga IFF/ILBM format.
The latest changes to ‘imcon’ version 0.03 correct a long known
bug that reported non-existing “file short” errors. The ‘imcon’
module has been ported to the Sozobon C for the Atari ST. All
modules should work under OS-9 6809 and 68K (subject to some
debugging :-).

The disk crunch has beseiged us again, so it seems as if I’m going
to have to be really liberal with that there axe. First to go
are the one-shot anime synopses; if enough hasn’t been removed
by then, I’ll have to start keeping only the last five Usenet
digests online, as opposed to the last ten. I don’t know if it’ll
be necessary to wipe out more than that, but I hope not…
In any event, you’ve got until Wednesday night to grab what you
can. After that, I start razing. Of course, everything will still
be available from me, as I’m a packrat and store everything offline,
but it’s nowhere near as convenient for either of us as listings…

A few things:
– My Usenet digests no longer come with detailed descriptions;
after trying it out for a while, I discovered it’s too time-
consuming.
– alt.tv.tiny-toon has become more noise than signal in the last
few months, which explains the infrequency of the digests.
For those interested, I’m looking into a Usenet <-> mail gateway
so that those interested can get it in e-mail.
– I’m almost caught up in the Usenet digests; just about all of
them are within a month of today, I think. I should have this
under control soon.
– With the recent addition of disk space, more stuff will be popping
up here as I search through my archives.
– If there are any suggestions or comments, please don’t hesitate
to post them here for discussion, or mail them to me.

This is the latest version of my ImageWise Framegrabber support
kit. It contains C source code for the following modules:
‘icap’ — which captures an Imagewise frame file.
‘iex’ — which expands a compressed Imagewise file to full length.
‘iana’ — which provides some integrity checking and stats of an
expanded imagewise file.
‘imcon’ — which converts an expanded Imagewise file to Atari
ST Degas .PI1 format or Amiga IFF/ILBM format.
The latest changes to ‘imcon’ version 0.03 correct a long known
bug that reported non-existing “file short” errors. The ‘imcon’
module has been ported to the Sozobon C for the Atari ST. All
modules should work under OS-9 6809 and 68K (subject to some
debugging :-).

AniMan–AniMan combines Amiga animation, speech synthesis, and voice
recognition, to provide you with an animated talking head
that will run any Amiga program by voice command. Ask for
an Amiga program by name, and AniMan will oblige. If AniMan
becomes impatient, you may be insulted. AniMan will also
recite poetry if you ask nicely. This is Version 3.0 of Ani-
Man, an updaate to version 2.1 disk 653. It corrects a bug
that caused AniMan to crash on some machines but not others.
This version will also automatically adjust for either NTSC
or PAL systems. Either the Perfect Sound 3 or Sound Master
(Sound Magic) audio digitizer is required along with 1MB of
fast memory. AniMan is like nothing you’ve ever see before.
