No, rather, we actually stood in our driveway and lit sparklers and waved them around like… kids with illegal fireworks.
I did happen to see today the famous Mr. Magoo cartoon where he loads a bunch of fireworks into his patio barbecue, against the advice of Cholly. And that was my fourth.
Yes, that’s what we did as kids… popped balloons.
